I wasn't really sure what to expect at the reunion but it exceeded all expectations.  The planning was evident as everything went smoothly and it was so well thought out.   The food was great but even better was the opportunity to catch up with old friends.  No matter how far our lives have taken us from Plainview; we all share common roots.  We were blessed to grow up in a small town where safety was never a concern and we were surrounded by caring people.  What a great foundation for us to go make our way in the world.   From visiting with so many of you it is evident that you have given back so much.  The world truly has been enriched by your commitment to go and serve and make it better than you found it. Here's to the next 10 when hopefully we do it again, but hopefully with cooler weather this time. Frances

I attended the 40th reunion in 2008, which was 2 years after my husband, Randy Hodges, had died.  We had been married 37 years.  Later in 2008,  I met a Scottish man, who been living  in Australia.  He was an engineer and took an assignment in Houston where I was still living.   Long story short, we got married in 2010, moved back to Australia for about 3 years, which was a great experience!  He retired in 2013 and we moved to Lake Palestine near Tyler, Texas and live in a golf community.  We have traveled alot overseas and have an RV for travelling more in the states.  We love retirement and even are in a band, playing mostly in retirement homes in Tyler.  We cannot make the reunion as grandkids ( 5 of them) will be here, but hopefully next time!    Best of life and health to everyone!  We have lost too many, too soon! Cheers!   Barby Kunz Gilbert

WELCOME HOME and THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE to All my Vietnam Brothers and Sisters. I wish I could make it but due to all my health problems from Agent Orange sprayed on the veterans in Vietnam I can't make the trip. To the Veterans that are able to make it hats off to you and I wish you well. Little did we know that we made it out of Nam alive to only find out 40 years later that the goverment used chemical weapons on us that are taking our life a little each day.   %u200BThanks for the calls wanting me to come and talking about the old days when you call. It does not seem like it has been 50 years but time goes fast as we age. Everyone have a good time and give the Veterans a big THANK YOU when you Honor them. To the Veterans I will see you on the other side.

My husband, Lynn, & I have spent the last 38 years in Arkansas.  After living in the country with woods, and streams and wildlife, I haven't had much desire for a visit to West Texas.  But, we have our plane tickets already for the 50th reunion.  There are two names I haven't been able to find: Verna Manka and Kay Hooper. Looking forward to connecting with some of my classmates!!

I was saddened to see that so many of our class have passed away. Each life makes a difference in this world. I am hoping as many as possible will be at the 50th reunion. Many of the class of '68 will be 68 years old at the 50th reunion.

My wonderful Gary and I are enjoying our children and grandchildren, and traveling. I started a new career after retiring from teaching children. For the last nine years, I have loved doing activities for 80-90 year olds in a retirement center.

Looking forward to seeing you all!
